In april 2016 ben ik begonnen als project manager bij ProQR Therapeutics in Leiden. ProQR Therapeutics is een farmaceutisch bedrijf dat zich richt op het ontwikkelen van geneesmiddelen voor de behandeling van ernstige zeldzame ziekten.

Door mee te doen met Skate4AIR hoop ik een bijdrage te leveren aan de strijd tegen deze dodelijke ziekte. Ik ben inmiddels gestart met mijn voorbereidingen en zal nog vele uren op het ijs moeten doorbrengen om goed voorbereid te zijn voor dit geweldige avontuur op 3 februari.

Met mijn deelname aan Skate4AIR hoop ik veel geld in te zamelen voor het Rainbow Project van de Nederlandse Cystic Fibrosis Stichting (zie ook https://www.skate4air.nl/bestemming-opbrengst).

In April 2016, I have started working as a clinical trial manager at ProQR Therapeutics which is a company that is developing new medicines including for Cystic Fibrosis. In my job I see the devastating effects of this disease on young people that are in the prime of their life.

By participating in the Skate4AIR I hope that I can make a contribution to the fight against this deadly disease. I have started my preparations and will still need many hours on the ice to be fully prepared for this great adventure on February 3rd.
